Useful read. I have been considering what kind of smaller pet to get as company in my tiny apartment, and wanted to look into chinchillas as an option. This gave me lots of useful info to help me make decisions. A good read for people who are as clueless as I am about these friendly critters. Probably won't be useful to anyone who knows much about them, though.

This book tells you everything you need to know about care of your little furry friend. Many small things you need to know about keeping him comfortable and happy as well as the big things. Such as, I didn't know you were not supposed to bath a Chinchilla! This is important! I would recommend this book to anyone who is considering owning a Chinchilla as well as to those who are already owners. Thanks Thomas for such a great book!

It was FULL of interesting facts and information about chinchillas and their care. Some of the topics covered include an introduction to their species, selecting a healthy chinchilla, setting up a habitat, and daily care of your new pet.Overall, I found this book to be highly informative and the ONLY guide I need to get started with a pet chinchilla. The topics were clearly organized and I know I will refer back to this book again and again!
