Phillis Gershator has written many picture books for children. Her mother, Mim Green, inspired this collaboration, and the two have also cowritten Who's Awake in Springtime? (Henry Holt), which Booklist called “A playful and inviting bedtime tale.”  Phillis worked as a children's librarian for the Brooklyn Public Library and now lives with her husband and frequent coauthor, David, in the U.S. Virgin Islands. This book makes such a great read and is an excellent gift for children. I am always on the hunt for new books for my kiddos! This book is such a good one!! The wording and descriptions of the story are very easy to read and have adorable illustrations! The book was very well written and had a cute story line. Overall, my kids and I give this book a thumbs up!

The child and the parent go through the day doing all sorts of activities and getting lots of hugs. It's a fun book with lots of different activities. There are clocks throughout the book, and the times show only the whole hours; the long hand on each clock is on the 12. After reading the library's copy, I bought a copy for our house and another copy to give as a gift.

Super cute book! Really love the illustrations and how interactive it is. It's also a really nice size, not too small. I highly recommend!

One of my favorites, if not just for the fact that each time we read "time for a hug!" our 18 month old actually gives us one (aw yeah!). Such a fun book, and the artwork is beautiful!

This book is darling! I bought one for my 6 month old and liked it so much I bought another for my nephews (5 months and 2 years old). We read it daily. He loves the repetition and it is a simple story and I love all the fun ideas for things they show the bunnies doing throughout the day - going on a hike, building with blocks, brushing teeth and so on. This is going to be one that I buy again to add to every baby shower gift. So cute!

We love this book. Almost every page ends with a hug. We love hugging as we read. So if you are looking for a good bedtime snuggle and hug book, this one gives your little ones lots of love and fun. They start to memorize it quickly, which makes it even more fun.

Cute book. My 10 month old loves it and likes the colors in the book. I like the story.
